چکیده

Mandarins are one of the most important citrus fruits in world terms tons produced. The late-season varieties mandarin have a great economic value due to their high production season with few varieties. objective is carry out preliminary study characterization and comparison morphological biochemical properties late ‘Afourer’, ‘Tango’, ‘Orri’. consisted physicochemical parameters related quality fruits, highlighting total antioxidant activity using ABTS DPPH, organic acids sugars HPLC metabolomics juice by 1H-NMR. Afourer’ mandarins were heavier larger (120.75 g, 67.60 mm) than other two studied. ‘Orri’ variety showed different acid profile compared studied, higher amount (13.49 g/100 mL). ‘Tango’ grown on Forner-Alcaide rootstock stood for having weight (113.52 g), more intense color, greater phenolic compounds (966.85 mg AGE/L Forner) Citrus macrophylla. analysis that these had mainly non-essential amino acids.

A Study of Initial, Final and Growing Season Length in West of Iran

Objective: An increasing number of studies have reported on shifts in timing and length of the growing season, based on phonological, satellite and climatologically studies. Changes in the timing and length of the growing season (GSL) may not only have far reaching consequences for plant and animal ecosystems, but persistent increases in GSL may lead to long-term increases in carbon storage and...

Growing Quality Forages under Variable Environmental Conditions

Forage age and maturity generally have a larger influence on forage quality than environmental factors. Plant environment, however, cause deviations in forage quality even when harvested at the same maturity. Temperature usually has greater influence on forage quality than other environmental factors. Although increasing temperature normally hastens maturity, the primary effect may be through i...

Historical changes of temperature and vapor pressure deficit during the crop growing season in Iran

Climate change variables have rarely been analyzed specifically for the growing season of crops. In this study, changes in minimum (Tmin) and maximum temperature (Tmax), daily maximum saturated vapor pressure (VPsat) and estimated daily VPD weighted for transpiration (VPDtran) were examined at five locations in Iran over 40 years during the growing seasons of chickpea and maize. The results of ...
